Use the following options to define how SDI FTP should interface with your firewall.

 

Use default settings for this computer:Use the default settings for your computer as specified in your Windows Internet Settings. (Start, Settings, Control Panel, Internet Options, Connections tab, LAN settings button, Proxy Server section)

 

Type:Specifies the format used to pass the user name to the firewall or proxy server.

 

None pass the user name from this dialog with no changes.

Userid@hostname pass in Userid@hostname format. Where "Userid" is the user name and "hostname" is the domain name or IP address of the FTP server.

User after logon Logon to the firewall using the User Name and Password from this dialog. After the firewall login completes, send User@hostname to the FTP server.

 

Proxy Server Name or IP Address:The domain name or IP address of the proxy server or firewall.

 

PortThe port number to use for communication with the firewall.

 

User Name:The user name to pass to the firewall or proxy server.

 

Password:The password to pass to the firewall or proxy server.

 

Prompt:Select prompt if you want to be prompted for your password when you connect. If prompt is not specified, the password in the password edit box is automatically passed to the host during the connection process.
 
Save password:Select save password if you want SDI FTP to save the password so that you do not need to reenter it each time you connect the session. The password is encrypted and stored in the session profile. If you do not select save password, the password is not saved and you need to reenter it each time you want to connect the session.
