Internet Protocol Version 6 (IPv6) Support

TN3270 Plus releases 3.5.5 and above add Internet Protocol Version 6 (IPv6) support. IPv6 is an optional additional cost feature.  If you currently have TN3270 Plus without the IPv6 Feature, you can order an upgrade and add the IPv6 Feature. TN3270 Plus continues to support IPv4.

Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) is a new Internet Protocol designed to succeed Internet Protocol version 4 (IPv4). IPv6 is needed because the pool of IP addresses available in IPv4 is being depleted.
